Example Projects
Design of Gas Sweetening Facility
A 18,000 ft high pressure, sour gas well in a tight sand reservoir in
Sublette County, WY was thought to be depleted and stripped of its
facilities. Integrated reservoir modeling, nodal analysis, and facilities
engineering optimized the most economic sweetening facility for returning
this well to production.
Design of Gas Processing Skid
Process simulation was used to optimize the design of a gas processing
skid for a Sublette County, WY well.
Optimization of Gas Flowline Network
The low volumes and low pressures of CBM production pose unique
production facilities problems. Studies of the gas production systems have
resulted in opportunities to increase production and recoverable reserves by
as much as 15% in Powder River Basin CBM fields.
Design of Vacuum Installation
The proper sizing, placement, and installation timing are critical to
optimizing vacuum installations. Integration of reservoir description,
completion performance, and flowline network performance must all be
considered to obtain the best installation in Powder River CBM fields.
