Muddy Fracture Treatment
A hydraulic fracture treatment that we designed was pumped with our
personnel on location. The knowledge gained during the design enabled
decisions to be made in response to real-time data that enabled the
treatment to be pumped successfully.
Nisku Well Drilling
The use of real-time hydraulics and vibration simulations enabled
penetration rates to be optimized and bit life to be extended so the well
could be drilled with three bits, saving the time and cost of an additional
bit and trip.
Drill String Failure Analysis
Drilling operations without our supervision resulted in two successive
drill collar failures in the equivalent section of the hole. Investigation
revealed that this point was consistent with a calculated second order
buckling point and that the next collar had a slight bend, causing the
