Extreme Petroleum Technology, Inc.
2003 – present - Senior Petroleum Engineer. Planning,
procedures, cost estimates, scheduling, procurements, and regulatory
permitting for drilling, completion, workover, and abandonment operations.
Also assisted in design of surface facilities for sour gas processing.
Critique, Inc.
1998 to 1999 - Petroleum Engineer. Plan and prepare
necessary requisitions and schedules for potential drilling projects at
the Rocky Mountain Oilfield Testing Center at Naval Petroleum Reserve #3
(NPR#3). Monitor daily production activities at Naval Oil Shale Reserve #3
(NOSR#3) in Garfield County, CO.
Fluor Daniel (NPOSR), Inc.
1993 to 1998 - Petroleum Engineer. Operations at NOSR#3,
including design and implementation of drilling, completion and production
of Wasatch and Mesaverde gas wells. Supervision of engineering technician,
pumper and wellsite consultants. Onsite supervision of recompletion
operations. Ensure the safety, security and training of assigned
personnel.
1992 to 1993 - Petroleum Engineer. Preparation of work
procedures to accomplish regulatory compliance along with related studies
as necessary at NPR#3. Participated in NPR#3 horizontal drilling
feasibility study. Supervision of wellbore testing and remedial
operations. Ensure the safety, security and training of assigned
personnel.
John Brown E&C, Inc.
1991 to 1992 - Production Superintendent at NPR#3.
Supervision of assigned personnel to maximize oil production/minimize
downtime through preventive maintenance and repairs and provide accurate
production and well data. Ensure adherence with all DOE orders, policies
and procedures. Ensure the safety, security and training of assigned
personnel.
Pacific Enterprises Oil Co. (USA) (formerly Terra
Resources, Inc)
1986 to 1991 - Drilling Superintendent/Engineer for the
Rocky Mountain Region. Preparation of drilling cost estimates and drilling
plans, solicitation of recommendations and bids from and evaluation of
service and supply companies, monitor and supervise drilling operations on
a daily basis and final evaluation of the drilling operations. Depth of
the wells varied from 2,200' to 14,100', located from New Mexico to North
Dakota with the majority of the wells in Wyoming. Included four horizontal
Bakken wells drilled in the Williston Basin.
1985 to 1986 - Operations Engineer. Provide operations
direction to the Field Optimized Recovery Team study group. Evaluate
fields to improve performance and economics.
1979 to 1985 - District Manager - Operations. Manage
drilling and production activity in the Rocky Mountain District. Prepared
and achieved District operating and capital budgets. Managed 77 person
District staff comprised of engineers, foremen, accountants and non-exempt
field and office personnel.
1978 to 1979 - District Operations Manager. Supervision
of the Rocky Mountain Operations personnel, review and recommend action on
proposals and activities related to drilling and production and provided
technical assistance on special projects.
1969 to 1978 - Operations Engineer to District
Engineer. Operations Engineer for the Central Rockies Area. Promoted to
Lead Operations Engineer and coordinated activity and provided assistance
to other Operations Engineers while continuing as Engineer for the Central
Rockies Area. Promoted to District Engineer with responsibility for
supervision of Operations and Reservoir Engineers in the Rocky Mountain
District. Also acted as Operations Engineer for the Williston Basin Area.
