Drilling and Completion Engineering

Prospect evaluation, prognoses, permitting, well planning, onsite supervision, cost control.

Design, permitting, and wellsite supervision for 7,500 ft Nisku test in Roosevelt Co, MT.

Design and wellsite supervision for successful PRB horizontal Minnelusa reentry project.

Successfully restored junked Red River well with salt-collapsed casing to production.

Responsible for drilling and completion of 14 tight gas and CBM wells in Piceance Basin.

Responsible for in-house UB drilling and completion of ± 145 wells at Teapot Dome field.

Designed tests of multilateral, underream-while-drilling, and rotary steerable technologies.

Reservoir Engineering

CO2 Screening Study for Teapot Dome Field, for US Department of Energy.

Innovative use of dipmeters for waterflood analysis at West Moran Minnelusa Unit.

Valuation of properties for oil and gas and CBM for various clients.

3-D simulation study of Second Wall Creek waterflood and gas injection at Teapot Dome.

Designed Steamflood expansion in naturally fractured Shannon Reservoir at Teapot Dome.

Designed Second Wall Creek Reservoir alkaline-surfactant-polymer project at Teapot Dome.

Aided in reservoir description and injection design for Texaco’s Paradis, LA CO2 project.

Responsible for tight gas, coalbed methane completions on DOE’s Western Slope, CO fields.

Production Engineering

Designed frac to increase production from 12 to 140 BOPD for Muddy producer.

Managed and optimized production operations for fields in N. Rocky Mts. and Gulf Coast.

Executed many workover programs, from prospect identification through onsite supervision.

Designed and executed massive N2 foam fracture treatments at Rulison, Parachute fields.

Designed chemical and microbial paraffin and H2S control projects at Teapot Dome.

Designed and permitted with BLM P&A of 13,000 ft Lance/Almond well in Washakie Basin

Returned 18,000 ft, 17% H2S tight gas well to production in Morgan formation on Moxa Arch.
